The Project Manager/Analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating, analyzing, monitoring and directing the complex and diverse activities associated with deployment of a proprietary operations system to Examworks business units.  They are the primary communication hub to foresee or predict risks and plan, organize and control activities so as to complete projects on time and on budget. (PMI Certified is a Plus)


Essential Functions

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of the project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Develop project schedules.
  • Track project deliverables.
  • Provide direction and support to the project team.
  • Monitor and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Report issues (risks) to project schedule or budget.
  • Manage change requests.
  • Assess results.
  • Communicate process/procedural changes and lessons learned to teams and fellow project management colleagues.
  • Provide appropriate project documentation as required by project type and operations.
  • Manage the creation of product requirements documents through the coordination of requirements with product marketing, sales, operations, and product development resources.
  • Perform ongoing gap analysis to assist in the development of product roadmap strategies.
  • Track and report key product development metrics.
  • Coordinate all necessary adjustments to existing product requirements documents as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the product development process.
  • Work with internal resources and external resources as needed to gain critical understanding of business operations and systems.
  • Translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions.
  • Determine potential solutions and test them for both technical and business compatibility.
  • Work with the software developers and various end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
  • Plan testing schedules for completing the system operations.
  • Supervise proper implementation of a new system.
  • Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc.
  • Implement and maintain system alignment with business processes.

Marginal Functions

  • Assemble and coordinate project staff.
  • Manage resource allocations once assigned.
  • Provide training and support directly to customers and/or end users.
  • Attend and participate in management and/or cross-divisional meetings.


Educational and/or Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelors’ degree is desired as well as a minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in the field. Account Management experience working with offsite, in home personnel is helpful but not necessary.
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies.
  • Previous technical and/or professional experience managing complex projects.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience in strategic planning.
  • Experience in risk management.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Proficient in Project Management software.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing multiple large scale projects at the same time in shared resource environments.
  • Proficient with administrative software (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience researching and applying solutions that leverage new technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain highly effective under minimal supervision.
