Overview

The Bill Review Specialist is responsible for bill review which includes reviewing the Case Manager submitted billing activities to ensure it is in compliance with the ECS billing guidelines and/or the account specific billing guidelines. The Bill Review Specialist is also responsible for emailing/mailing the completed work product to the customer. This position works closely with various departments to ensure work is processed and completed at the highest level of quality and in compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Review billing activity in conjunction with report documentation to assure accuracy in accordance with the ECS billing guidelines and/or specific account billing guidelines making the necessary changes.
  • Work closely with the ROMs to ensure the billing is being processed in a timely manner.Audit Caseworks BAF screen line by line rejecting to ROMs as needed.
  • Assist Case Manager on appropriate billing.
  • Provide support to management as needed.
  • Assist with addressing issues and solving problems with internal/external customers.
  • Abide by all rules of the company such as safety, confidentiality and organizational directives.
  • Work inside customer driven systems as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma orequivalent required. A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in an administrative support position required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative support position required.
  • Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone.
  • Must maintain a professional and clean appearance at all times consistent with company standards.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, fractions, hours & minutes, and possess the ability to compute rates and percentages.
  • Must be proficient in multiple software programs, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet.
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to managements' directions accurately.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to demonstrate team behavior and promote a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to stay focused and concentrate in close quarters under normal or heavy distractions. Must be able to work well under pressure and or stressful conditions.
